9. Temperature Controls for Each Zone
The CR-5000F's heating zone temperature controllers have an accuracy of ±1°C and, in conjunction with a high-speed blower adjacent to each heat source for maximum convection, ensure a ΔT of ±2°C across the PCB assembly. The CR Series diffuser design also provides low-velocity, low-turbulence air flow to prevent component shift or disturbance. Optional thermocouples can be attached at different, critical locations on the PCB, and connect to three built-in inputs (standard) on the oven for communication with CR Series control software and accurate, real-time temperature profiling to match any solder paste manufacturer‘s specifications.
Advanced Conveyor Systems for Any Production Requirement
All CR-5000F is supplied as standard with combination 570mm stainless-steel mesh belt and adjustable-rail, pin-type conveyor system. To eliminate the possibility of jamming or dropped PCB assemblies,all components are constructed of high-quality, high-strength, stainless steel and are built to maintain dimensional tolerances at the high temperatures of lead-free processing. Advanced automatic chain lubrication and hand wheel width adjustment are standard features, although programmable automatic width adjustment is available as an option.An optional center board support system is also offered to avert board warpage issues common to larger PCBs processed at higher lead-free temperatures. Conveyor speed is programmable from per minute 400-1800 mm.
Easy-to-Use Control Software Offers Total Process Management and Ease of Use
Operation and control of all CR Series reflow systems is accomplished through an attractive, colorful, visual user interface that features a full-screen, virtual view of the system with display of pre-set and actual zone temperatures, system status and conveyor speed. The Windows?-based operating system and control software includes advanced functions for temperature profiling, timed automatic startup and shutdown, audible and visual alarms, and password protection. A PC-controller with 15" flat screen monitor, keyboard and trackball allow unlimited storage and networking capabilitiy. All systems employ UPS battery backup to ensure removal of all product from the oven in the event of a power outage.

We've never been able to offer an in-line hot-air convection reflow system for low-volume lead-free soldering at this low of a price. Until now! Just over 6 1/2 feet long, the new, free-standing CR-4000T handles boards up to 500 mm (20") wide and has a pricetag less than most benchtop models. With four independent reflow zones, three thermocouple inputs and LCD touchscreen control, the CR-4000T is the perfect solution for testing, prototyping, and short-run or pilot production with a level of profile control that is unprecedented in a system at this low cost.
Unsurpassed Value and Performance for
Mid-Volume Lead-Free Reflow
You can't afford to sacrifice solder quality. You also can't afford to overspend for throughput capability you don't need, but features and performance you know are essential. Now there's an answer. Until the CR-4000T, never has so much value been offered to assemblers looking for a simple, low-cost solution to mid-volume lead-free reflow requirements. The CR-4000T provides four independently controlled heating zones of full, forced hot-air convection reflow using high-mass heating panels and high-speed blowers to attain temperatures up to 300°C
(more than adequate for lead-free). The stainless steel mesh conveyor accepts boards up to 500 mm (20") wide and can be set to speeds up to 900 mm (35") per minute, depending on the PCB size, density, and product load. The CR-4000T also includes an integral, 3-blower, cooling zone to reduce assemblies to manageable handling temperatures and built-in exhaust venting.
PLC Touchscreen Control with Full Profiling Capability
One of the most attractive features of the CR-4000T is the full-color, touch-screen LCD display and intuitive user interface which provides a level of control and security normally only found in reflow systems costing twice as much. The system accepts data from three built-in thermocouple inputs and, in minutes, can capture and store zone temperature test settings and belt speeds for precise, repeatable thermal profiling. on-board storage and selection of programs are password protected to ensure inadvertent changes to parameter settings. Just over 6 1/2 feet long, the CR-4000T also includes a sturdy base cabinet with leveling feet and rollers for easy integration into almost any factory setting.
